Abhayanand Singh is the Chairperson of Singapore South Asian International Film Festival (Sg.SAIFF). With a rich work experience, and knowledge across industries namely banking, finance, pharmaceuticals, art, furniture, software and media, Abhayanand Singh is well acquainted with the corporate environment with special expertise in managing investments for HNIs (High Net Worth Individuals).
More recently however, he has been working independently overseeing a family business with a group of investors, straddling a love for cinema with his entrepreneur skills. He has dealt in equities, bonds, options, currencies and other alternative asset classes. He is the Chief Executive Officer for the globally funded VOD (Video on Demand) platform, Muvizz.com, dedicated to ‘Indie Cinema’
He has co-produced & distributed the Hollywood-French-Indian coproduction “The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir” (Dhanush), He has also co-produced feature films “Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyun Aata Hai” (Manav Kaul), “JL 50” (Abhay Deol), Tamil Film – “Maadathy” and “Bhonsle” (Manoj Bajpayee) which is currently doing rounds in several International Film Festivals.
Piiyush Singh is the Co-Chairperson of Singapore South Asian International Film Festival (Sg.SAIFF) and an entrepreneur and film producer. With having over ten years of experience in the media and entertainment industry with a production experience of more than 500 hours of content.
He is the Co-Founder and COO of the globally funded, online Video on Demand (VoD) platform, Muvizz.com, dedicated to ‘Indie Cinema’. Piiyush Singh has produced prestigious short films such as ‘Taandav’ and ‘Kriti’ which have won many international awards. He has also recently produced a web series titled, “Cyber Squad” for Alt Digital, the web platform of Balaji productions.

Urmila Dasgupta has spent over a decade in the publishing industry. She has worked for publishing houses such as Rupa, Katha, Penguin Books India, Pearson India and Oxford University Press, honing book ideas and mentoring authors. Subsequently she set up her own literary agency Purple Folio and worked on diverse genres.
Her bestselling author Judy Balan’s Nina series was picked up by Harper Collins US and she was the official agent in India for one of America’s largest literary agency, Inkwell Management. She brings her expertise on content now to the visual formats.
Ideating on how to adapt books to screen, working with script writers to create the final product, mentoring young writers and curating projects for producers and investors, are now the areas in which she is actively involved. Over the last few years she has been working with production houses to pitch story ideas to directors, actors and OTT platforms.
